THE

COVID-19

GUIDELINES

for climbing at The Boardroom

All climbers MUST pre-book a 2 hour slot before climbing. We cannot guarantee entry otherwise.

Please limit your climbing session to 2 hours. If you’d like to climb for longer and we have space, ask at reception when you arrive and we can book you onto the next slot. We are limiting our capacity to keep everyone safe and want everyone to be able to climb.

Please do not come climbing if you have COVID19 symtoms.

Card payment preferred, pay on the door or can use your DD membership etc.

Please, where possible arrive ready to climb.

Remember your mask for general areas, we do have them for sale if required.

We highly recommend liquid chalk, but you can use other types of chalk.

Please be considerate of other climbers and social distance, both on and off the wall.

When climbing on top ropes or lead, please keep at least one rope line between climbers.

Wipe down gym equipment and training areas before and after use with spray and cloths provided.

Don’t touch your face! And cough/sneeze into a tissue or crease of elbow.

When you’ve finished climbing check out so we know you have left the building.

Please cancel if you can’t make it, this will free up spaces for other people.

We have done everything possible by following government guidelines to ensure we minimise the risk.

PLEASE WEAR A MASK*

Unless you are climbing or eating.

RESPECT OTHER CLIMBERS

Social distance, on and off the wall.

NB: If you are an adult supervising children, you need to also book a slot for yourself. 1 adult can supervise up to 2 children. All children must be registered here and have climbed here before, unless they are being supervised by us.

PRE-BOOK YOUR CLIMB

INSTRUCTED SESSIONS

Our instructors will be wearing visors to deliver sessions. Masks must be worn in general areas and reception, but not whilst climbing.

If you are booked onto a session run by one of our instructors, you do not need to book a climbing slot as well.

*Children under 11 are not required to wear a mask.
