To our amazing climbing community,

After much consideration, we’ve made the very difficult decision to close The Boardroom Climbing Wimbledon, with our final day of operation on Sunday 8th June 2025.

We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built together, and endlessly grateful to everyone who has supported us — from our loyal climbers, and our dedicated team of staff who have worked so hard over the years to create a welcoming, energetic, and inspiring space.

Unfortunately, ongoing challenges — including persistent leaks in the building, increasing rent, and lower-than-needed footfall — have made it impossible for us to continue. We’ve done everything we can to turn things around, but as a small, independent business, we don’t have the resources of a large corporation to absorb losses year after year.

This isn’t the ending we hoped for, but we’ll always be proud of what we achieved and the community we grew. You, the climbers, have made this an incredible space over the last two years, and for this we thank you, more than you can imagine.

A special thank you goes to our incredible staff team. From the beginning, they’ve truly embodied everything we set out to create — a space that’s inclusive, encouraging, and full of positive energy. Their dedication, creativity, and warmth shaped the heart of The Boardroom and made it more than just a gym. We couldn’t have done this without them, and we are proud of the community they helped nurture.

For monthly billed members, Your membership will end on the 31st of May. You will not be billed on the 1st of June.
