The BMC Youth Climbing Series is a climbing competition for young people. The series is extremely popular and attracts hundreds of young climbers nationwide.
NB: The Mezz will be closed off from Friday morning until after the comp on Saturday.
Round 6 of Rockwork Orange will finish earlier than planned, with the left hand side being set Thursday with the rest on Friday.
The competition is open to young people so whether you’re new to climbing, or already have some experience, this could be the competition for you.
There is a new format for 2019 with four rounds; two roped and two boulder. Each round consists of seven separate events taking place simultaneously across seven different regions in England and Wales. The series will culminate in a two day Grand Final where the top three in each category from each BMC area, and from Scotland and Ireland, take part.
To be eligible for the Grand Final it is necessary to take part in a minimum of three regional rounds in the area that a climber lives.
